On the second Tuesday of the month, the Community Outreach team from the Palm Beach County Quilters’ Guild meets at Quilt a Bit to sew quilts for donation.
On May 11th, we’ll meet from 2:30 to 6:00 pm to sew Twist ‘n Turn blocks, although it’s not unusual to finish for the day and leave a bit earlier.

The method we’ll use was first developed by Sharyn Squier Craig. Her book is out of print but you can often find used copies on eBay or online book stores.
We have fabric scraps to frame these fun cat and dogs prints so you don’t need to bring any fabric. You don’t need the book either because we’re demonstrating how to cut and piece the blocks. Just bring your normal sewing supplies – machine, thread, and snips or scissors.

There are just 8 spots open for sewing, so if you’re thinking about joining us, drop a comment so we can save one for you!
Guild membership is not required, but please note that guild members do have priority for available spots.
